Thank-you letter
from Seneca Falls Humane Society.
I want you and your readers to know is what we saw in
New Orleans!! I felt like I was back in Africa or Bosnia -
where there is little concern for life, human, feline,
canine, any kind of life. The vulnerable- the old, the poor,
and pets left behind often because their people were
promised they'd be cared for - were left injured, dying in
their homes and on the street.

Subject: Foster a dog NOW for your
local Humane Society
Since "Katrina Dogs" have been moved to
other HSUS shelters, they will have to make room for them.
Please go to your local shelter today and offer to foster one of their dogs - it
will save a life - and help to make room for these Katrina dogs that are coming
in.
In essence, it is the same as fostering a Katrina dog.
All the shelters are going to feel the Katrina impact, so save a Katrina dog
there in your home town.
The Snowball angle softened the official ''leave all pets behind" evacuation
policy. Displaced people leaving New Orleans have been allowed to travel out
with four-legged companions. Some of the evacuees who landed on Cape Cod arrived
with their critters -- ''including several mutts, a Pomeranian, and a cocker
spaniel," according to the Globe.

ANOTHER
$5,000 ADDED by Puppymillrescue, Katrina
Found Pets to the $10,000
reward offered by Pasedo OFFERED IN SHOOTING OF
DOGS IN ST. BERNARD PARISH
My heart is broken, I am so
sorry to crosspost such sad
news. Evidently, Gigi was
killed. This was crossposted
to a petfinder forum today.
Orginially posted on NOLA
this poor woman was slammed
a bit about her grief.
Please don't contact her.
Contact the authorities at:

CriminalInfo@ag.state.la.us,
InvestigationInfo@ag.state.la.us,
AskDOJ@usdoj.gov
In one of her posts on
petfinder she identified the
Deputies who force her to
give them Gigi:
Pet taken by St. Bernard
Sheriff's Deputy,John
Sherman then given to former
Deputy, Wendall Fourcade
when evacuating Katrina. She
originally had on a brown
collar with a St. Francis
medal on it.
Hope this gets through, my
email is 'bouncing'. They
have to pay for what they
did to these aminals and to
the people who loved them.
If you pray, please add Judy
and her family to your
prayers.

Board of directors have decided to offer
$5000 towards the reward fund
started by Pasedo rescue, seeking the
conviction of the individual(s)
responsible for shooting the dogs to
death at Beauregard Middle
School.http://www.pasadosafehaven.org/NEWS/DOGSHOOTING/REWARD.htm
We hope the now $15,000 will encourage
somebody to talk!....
Are you talking about human
bodies? The horror scene I
witnessed was animals tied up
with curtain cords and left to
starve, some had been shot. I'll
give more details later..I'll
attach a couple of pictures. I
have not heard of anyone
bulldozing anything but mud from
the streets. I will try to
verify...
Here is another tragic story I
am working on. I am going in
tommorow to help these folks
photodocument the murder and
deliberate starvation of their
family of animals at Sebastian
Roy school..8 miles down the
road from the Beauregard school
I was at yesterday. If people
died in Beauregard school the
bodies had been removed..Read
this new tragic plea for help. I
am working on getting CNN to go
in with me on this one if I can,
if not I will go alone to
document it before the
perpertrators get in there to
clean up their crime scene..It
is HORRIFIC
The day of hurrican Katrina, 6
dogs were put into Sebastien Roy
School on
Bayou Rd. in St. Bernard Parish.
This was the only safe place to
put the
dogs. These were full bred pit
bulls, well trained, my brother
has bred
them for fifteen years. Poncho,
the head male was eight years
old and
superbly trained. Cheyenne was
pregnant and near the birth. The
others were
three females, three years, five
months, and seven months and a
male who
was five months. Yesterday my
brother was able to enter the
parish and go
see for his dogs. This is what
he found: The head male and and
the three
females were shot dead, shell
casings litter the area. They
appear to have
been dead for at least two
weeks. The young male, a five
month puppy, was
locked in a room and found dead.
This dog was left to starve,
which he did.
The mother had given birth to
three puppies, all were found
locked in a
stairwell with no water or food.
The puppies were well, but the
mother was
near death, never has he seen a
dog as skinny as she was. My
brother is
furious at the murder of his
animals and intends to return
tomorrow to
photograph the evidence and take
any legal action that he can. He
was told
by a first hand witness that the
St. Bernard Sheriff dept. did
the
shooting. This was not
necessary. We can understand
that the head male
might have to be put down
because he would defend his
family, but the
others were puppies, they would
not hurt anyone.
Below are pics I attached from
Beauregard school. I got word
tonight that CNN got in there
aftere I reported it and will
try to air it tonight or
tommorow. My mind is spinning
trying to help the some 400 pet
owners that have contacted me
today. So if I forget to write
again and tell you the full
Beauregard Story, call me at
